Ole Miss women’s basketball is set to face Vanderbilt on Friday, Jan. 30, in Birmingham, Alabama. The game will be played at Legacy Arena with tipoff scheduled for 2 p.m. Central Time, according to university officials.

The game is a neutral-site matchup and will be streamed live on SEC Network+. Admission is free, with doors opening at 1:30 p.m. All seating will be general admission, and fans are encouraged to attend.

This will be the 58th meeting between the two programs. Vanderbilt leads the series 35-22, with the teams first meeting in 1978. Ole Miss has won the last five matchups, including two games last season. The Rebels defeated Vanderbilt 87-59 in Oxford last season, marking their largest victory in the series. Kennedy Todd-Williams scored a career-high 25 points in that game.

Ole Miss head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin, in her eighth season, aims to extend the Rebels’ winning streak against Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt is coached by Shea Ralph, now in her fifth season, and currently ranks No. 5/6 nationally with a 20-1 record. The Commodores’ only loss was to South Carolina.

Vanderbilt features standout sophomore Mikayla Blakes, who leads the SEC with an average of 24.8 points per game. The team also excels in three-point shooting, making nearly 10 per game at a 40.6% clip. The Commodores are strong in assist-to-turnover ratio and defensive steals, with key contributors including Aubrey Galvan, Justine Pissot, and Sacha Washington.

Ole Miss recently defeated Missouri 82-61 on Thursday, with Cotie McMahon scoring a season-high 33 points. The Rebels look to continue their momentum and challenge Vanderbilt in Birmingham.

Senior forward Latasha Lattimore was recently named to the 2026 Naismith Women’s College Defensive Player of the Year Watch List. She has accumulated 45 blocks this season, averaging 2.1 per game, and is a key component of Ole Miss’s defense.
