Ole Miss to Host No. 11 Vanderbilt in Men’s Tennis Match

Oxford, Miss. — Ole Miss men’s tennis will host Vanderbilt on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center. The Rebels, ranked No. 31 with a 13-3 record overall and 1-3 in SEC play, are coming off a win against No. 30 Arkansas.

Vanderbilt enters the match with a 12-3 record and a 4-1 SEC mark. The Commodores have two ranked singles players, No. 90 Hoyoung Roh and No. 115 Pablo Martinez Gomez. Martinez Gomez was named SEC Player of the Week after performances against No. 14 Texas A&M and Oklahoma.

Vanderbilt also boasts a ranked doubles team, No. 49 Nathan Cox and Hoyoung Roh. Ole Miss counters with their own ranked doubles pair, No. 63 Stefano D’Agostino and Pietro Pampanin.

The Rebels’ roster features multiple standout players, including Matthieu Chambonniere, who finished the 2024 season with a 23-7 singles record and a program-high seven conference wins. Other key players include Stefano D’Agostino, ranked as high as No. 2 in ITF singles in August 2024, and Vlado Jankanj, with an ATP singles high of No. 1074.
