The series begins Friday at 5 p.m. CT on the SEC Network, with subsequent games scheduled for Saturday at 1 p.m. CT and Sunday at 12:30 p.m. CT on SEC Network Plus. Ole Miss aims to secure its first win in Knoxville since 2008.

The Rebels have hit 42 home runs in 2026, averaging 1.2 per game. Defensive consistency remains a focus, as the team is 14-3 when error-free and 7-11 when committing errors. Ole Miss faces a challenging schedule, with five remaining non-conference midweek games and 15 games against RPI top-25 opponents, including Tennessee.
Three Rebels—Madi George, Persy Llamas, and Mackenzie Pickens—have been recognized in Softball America’s March Power Rankings. Llamas and George are key contributors, especially when driving in runs, with the team performing well when these players produce offensively. Llamas, a preseason All-SEC selection, is close to entering the Ole Miss top-10 in career home runs and boasts a .991 fielding percentage at first base.
Freshman Madi George has quickly become a star, leading the team in multiple offensive categories with a .389 batting average, nine home runs, and 28 RBIs. The No. 1-ranked Tennessee team features a strong pitching rotation led by Karlyn Pickens and Erin Nuwer, along with impactful hitters such as Mackenzie Butt and Ella Dodge. Despite recent offensive struggles, Tennessee remains a formidable opponent.
