Ole Miss Baseball to Host Little Rock for Kid’s Day Game

Ole Miss Baseball will host Little Rock on Tuesday at Swayze Field in Oxford, Mississippi. The game is part of the program’s annual Kid’s Day event, with first pitch set for 11 a.m., according to university sources.

The Rebels enter the game with a 19-10 record overall and a 3-6 mark in Southeastern Conference play. They are coming off a week of losses, including a midweek defeat to Memphis and a sweep by Mississippi State over the weekend. Despite the setbacks, Ole Miss opened its home slate with a 16-0 record, the best in program history before losing in the second game of a series against Kentucky.

Little Rock holds a 17-11 record this season and is 5-1 in Ohio Valley Conference play. The Trojans are off to a strong start in 2026, having swept Tennessee Tech and recently earned two wins against Southern Indiana. Led by head coach Chris Curry, in his 12th season, Little Rock has experienced postseason success, including an NCAA Regional appearance last year.

The game features projected starting pitchers LHP Grayson Gibson for Ole Miss and LHP Nic Bronzini for Little Rock. The broadcast will be streamed on SEC Network+ with commentary from Will Kollmeyer and Matt McLaughlin. Fans can also listen to the game via the Ole Miss Radio Network, with David Kellum and Brad Henderson calling the action.

Ole Miss will look to improve after a challenging week and continue its tradition of strong performances on Kids’ Day. The game provides an opportunity for the Rebels to build momentum heading into SEC play, while Little Rock aims to extend its impressive start to the season.
