Mississippi Valley State Softball Looks to Spoil Alabama A&M Senior Weekend
Huntsville, Alabama — The Mississippi Valley State University softball team will try to spoil Alabama A&M’s Senior Weekend during a three-game series at Bulldog Softball Field. The Delta Devils, holding a 1-29 record overall and 0-15 in Southwestern Athletic Conference play, visit the Bulldogs, who are 16-24 and 3-11 in the conference.
The series is scheduled for Friday, April 10, at 3 p.m., and Saturday, April 11, with games at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The series marks the final games of the season for Mississippi Valley State.
Alabama A&M leads the all-time series against Mississippi Valley State 65-51, according to team records. The Bulldogs are on an 11-game winning streak, with their last victory coming on April 5, 2024, against an opponent they defeated 6-3. The last time the Delta Devils won was on April 5, 2024, with a 6-3 victory at MVSU Softball Field in Itta Bena, Mississippi.
