Mississippi Valley State Basketball Games Rescheduled Due to Weather

BATON ROUGE AND GRAMBLING, La. — The Mississippi Valley State men’s and women’s basketball programs have adjusted their weekend schedules due to forecasted severe weather, according to school officials.

The women’s game at Southern University, originally set for 6 p.m. Thursday, has been moved to 4 p.m. in Baton Rouge. The change was made to accommodate weather concerns, the school said.

The men’s and women’s teams’ doubleheader at Grambling State University, scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed. The game has been rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 23, at the Frederick C. Hobdy Assembly Center. The status of Monday’s game between Mississippi Valley State and Grambling State remains undetermined at this time.
