Mississippi State to Host Free Spring Football Scrimmage and Fan Event on April 11
Mississippi State football will host a free spring scrimmage and fan event at Davis Wade Stadium on Saturday, April 11, according to university officials. The event features a full day of activities across campus, beginning with gates opening at 8:45 a.m.
Fans can watch the scrimmage, which will include approximately 100 plays, starting at 9:15 a.m. The event will not follow a traditional game format, and no score or official statistics will be kept. The scrimmage will not be televised.
Following the practice, fans will have the opportunity to meet players, get autographs, take photos, and pick up posters at designated tables on the east side of the field. Entry to the field will be via the northeast and southeast gates, with fans directed by PA announcements.
Mississippi State head coach Jeff Lebby expressed enthusiasm about the event, emphasizing the team’s progress and the importance of connecting with supporters. “This is a great opportunity to share our talent with the Bulldog family,” Lebby said. “We’re grateful for the support and look forward to seeing everyone in Davis Wade this spring.”
Sports director Zac Selmon also highlighted the significance of the event, calling it a chance for fans to get an early look at the team and engage with student-athletes. Fans are encouraged to enjoy other campus sporting events, including No. 13 Mississippi State softball against No. 6 Arkansas at 2 p.m. and No. 9 Mississippi State baseball versus Tennessee at 6 p.m.
