Mississippi State Men’s Tennis Ranks No. 10 in Latest ITA Poll

Mississippi State men’s tennis is ranked No. 10 in the latest ITA Team Rankings, released Thursday, according to the ITA. Multiple Bulldogs earned individual recognition in singles and doubles, highlighting the team’s strong performance.

Petar Jovanovic leads the singles rankings at No. 10. He is followed by Mario Martinez Serrano at No. 43, Benito Sanchez Martinez at No. 47, and Bryan Hernandez Cortes at No. 55. In doubles, the pairing of Jovanovic and Sanchez Martinez is ranked No. 4 nationally. The duo of Michal Novansky and Martinez Serrano entered the rankings for the first time this season at No. 47, according to the ITA.

The Bulldogs competed at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships last week, facing three top-25 opponents. They opened with a dominant 4-0 win over SEC rival No. 23 Florida. They then lost to top-ranked Virginia, 4-1, despite securing a doubles point. The team concluded its indoor campaign with a 4-3 comeback victory over No. 4 Stanford, rallying after trailing 3-0.
