Mississippi State boasts a strong start to the season, opening with wins over SMU and Lamar in Dallas. The team is ranked No. 7 in the ITA preseason poll and has been inside the top 25 for four consecutive seasons. Seniors Petar Jovanovic and Benito Sanchez Martinez are both ITA Doubles All-Americans, with Jovanovic also earning singles honors after reaching the NCAA quarterfinals in 2025.

With a program history dating back 102 seasons, the Bulldogs have amassed over 1,100 wins.
