Mississippi State Leads with Two Inside Top 10 After Mason Rudolph Round Two
FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Mississippi State remains in fourth place after the second round of the Mason Rudolph Championship, shooting a 3-under 281, according to the tournament organizers. The Bulldogs are led by Dain Richie, who is one shot behind the individual leader in second place overall.
Richie, a graduate senior, carded five birdies, including three in his first six holes, to shoot a 4-under 67 — matching his best round of the season. He sits at 6-under overall for the tournament.
Ugo Malcor also performed well, shooting a 3-under 68 with five birdies. He improved 21 spots on the leaderboard and is tied for 10th. Garrett Endicott gained 24 spots after a gritty 1-under 70, despite starting with four bogeys in his first five holes. He rebounded with an eagle on No. 6 and birdies on Nos. 13 and 14, finishing with his second eagle of the round.
Jackson Cook and Jackson Skinner are tied for 52nd, both at 7-over for the event. Drew Wilson and Bryson Hughes, competing as individuals, are 72nd and 80th, respectively. The Bulldogs begin their third round off Hole No. 1 at 9:20 a.m. CT. Live results are available on SCOREBOARD.
The team leaderboard shows Auburn in first place at 552 strokes, followed by Tennessee and Vanderbilt. Mississippi State trails in fourth at 564 strokes after two rounds.
