Millsaps Women’s Cross Country Named USTFCCCA All-Academic Team for Fourth Consecutive Year

The Millsaps College women’s cross country team was named an All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Friday. The honor marks the fourth consecutive year the team has received the recognition, which is awarded for academic excellence.

The team posted a combined GPA of 3.66 after the fall semester. All six team members maintained a GPA of at least 3.4, with standout performances from freshmen Sara Grace Hoggatt, who earned a 4.0 GPA, and Molly Northam, with a 3.9. Senior Kris Arrington also impressed with a 3.67 GPA, according to the university.

To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic distinction, teams must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale during the most recent grading period. Millsaps College, founded in 1890 in Jackson, Mississippi, is recognized for its academic rigor and commitment to student success.
