Millsaps’ Elyse Warren earns WBCA All-America Honorable Mention
Millsaps College senior center Elyse Warren has been named an honorable mention on the 2026 Women’s Basketball Coaches Association NCAA Division III All-America team, the WBCA announced Thursday. Warren is the fourth player in program history to earn All-American honors.
Warren’s selection follows her recent accolades, including a spot on the D3hoops.com All-Region 6 First Team and a finalist for the Jostens Trophy. She also earned SAA Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Year and first-team all-conference honors. Warren set conference single-season and career rebounding records with 479 and 1,219 boards, respectively.
She ranks third nationally in NCAA Division III in total rebounds and rebounds per game (17.1). Warren recorded a conference-record 33 rebounds in one game and is second nationally with 24 double-doubles in 28 games. She averages 14.8 points per game and has surpassed 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in her career, the first in program history to do so.
Warren also leads her league in field goal percentage at 53.9% and has contributed 33 steals, 13 blocks, and nine assists this season. She was named U.S. Basketball Writers Association Division III National Player of the Week on Jan. 6 and has earned multiple weekly awards throughout the season. Warren’s achievements highlight her as one of Division III’s top players.
