Jones hits season-high 14 threes in road win over Northwest

Senatobia, Miss. — No. 19 Jones University made a season-high 14 three-pointers in a 111-95 road victory over Northwest Thursday night at Howard Coliseum.

The Bobcats improved to 19-7 overall and 8-2 in the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference. Northwest dropped to 13-9 and 2-5 in league play.

Jones held one of the league’s top-scoring teams to just 7-of-41 shooting from beyond the arc. Jay Tyler led the Bobcats with 23 points, including five three-pointers. Braylon Barnes, Dylan Rowe, and Tyler each scored 20 points, while Keron Jackson added 17. Wesley Lindsey posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
