Jones College to Host Region 23 Women’s Tennis Championships in Ellisville

ELLISVILLE, Miss. – Jones College will host the NJCAA Region 23 Women’s Tennis Championships for the sixth consecutive year from April 9-11. The Bobcats secured the hosting rights after winning their sixth straight undefeated MACCC Championship.

The men’s team, which also claimed its fifth consecutive MACCC title, will host its region tournament April 16-18. Qualifying teams for the tournament include Jones, Gulf Coast, Meridian, Northwest, Hinds, Copiah-Lincoln, Southwest, and East Central.

Live scoring will be available for all matches. A tournament central link can be found on the college’s website and at jcbobcats.com. Play begins at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, with the championship match scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday.
