Jones College Men’s Soccer Ranked No. 7 in NJCAA Preseason Poll

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Jones College men’s soccer is ranked No. 7 in the NJCAA Division II preseason poll for the 2026 season. The Bobcats enter the year following a 2025 season that included a 16-3-3 record and another appearance in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament, according to the school.

Brendan Connolly is in his 11th season as head coach of the Bobcats. During his tenure, he has led Jones to a 120-42-12 record and secured all six of the program’s MACCC Championships in the past eight years. Connolly has also guided the team to NJCAA Division II Tournament appearances in 2025, 2022, and spring 2021, the school said.

Jones is one of three MACCC programs ranked in the preseason top 20. Pearl River is ranked No. 10, and Hinds is No. 16, the school added. The Bobcats will open the season Friday, August 21, on the road against Southern Union State.
