Jackson State men’s tennis falls to Southern Miss in Hattiesburg
HATTIESBURG, Miss. — Jackson State’s men’s tennis team suffered a 4-3 loss to Southern Miss on Friday afternoon. The Tigers lost the doubles point but responded with wins in singles play from several players, including Ching Chang Chiu and Chen Hung-Yu.
Chang Chiu and Hung-Yu each secured three points in their singles matches. Hung-Yu also won six points in his second set, while Chiu earned five. Fabrizio Fallas and Gokalp Ayar contributed to the effort with key wins as well.
