Jackson State Baseball to Host Three Teams in Weekend Tournament

Jackson, Miss. — Jackson State baseball returns to action this weekend after a doubleheader sweep Tuesday. The Tigers will host three teams and play seven games over three days at Braddy Field.

Jackson State, with a 5-4 record, begins the tournament Friday at 2 p.m. against UNC Asheville and Mississippi Valley State. The day’s schedule includes a game between Jackson State and Mississippi Valley State at 5 p.m.

Saturday features three games: UNC Asheville versus Alcorn State at noon, Mississippi Valley State versus Jackson State at 3 p.m., and UNC Asheville versus Jackson State at 6 p.m.

The final day, Sunday, opens with UNC Asheville against Jackson State at 11 a.m. The tournament concludes with Mississippi Valley State facing Alcorn State at 2 p.m.
