Hinds Baseball Players Honored on All-MACCC Teams

Raymond, Miss. — Three members of the Hinds Community College baseball team earned honors from the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) for their performances during the 2026 season. Sophomore outfielder Ethan Keen was named to the All-MACCC First Team, while sophomore RJ Brown and pitcher Jacob Galloway received spots on the Honorable Mention Team, according to school officials.

Keen had a standout offensive season, appearing in all 52 games and batting .299 with 50 hits, including four doubles, two triples, and 19 home runs. He drove in 51 runs and posted a .413 on-base percentage and a .689 slugging percentage. Keen’s 19 home runs set a program record for most in the BBCOR era, and he also made 59 putouts defensively with a .955 fielding percentage, officials said.

Brown emerged as a key all-around player, batting .309 in 48 games. He totaled 50 hits, including eight doubles and 10 home runs, with a .556 slugging percentage. Brown also drove in 36 runs, stole 14 bases, and recorded a .976 fielding percentage with 291 putouts, according to team sources.

Galloway contributed significantly on the mound, appearing in 14 games and compiling a 5-6 record over 66.1 innings pitched. The sophomore struck out 60 batters, one of the top totals on the team, helping anchor the Eagles’ pitching staff during conference play, officials said.
