San Diego — Sean Pedulla, a former Ole Miss men’s basketball guard, has been named the 2025-26 Kia NBA G League Rookie of the Year, the league announced Thursday.

Pedulla, currently on a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Clippers, made an immediate impact during his first professional season. After a stint with the Portland Trail Blazers during the NBA Summer League, he played 22 games with their G League affiliate, the Rip City Remix.

He averaged 23.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 6.9 assists per game. Pedulla recorded five double-doubles and scored 30 or more points seven times, including a season-high 46 in early February.

The Clippers signed Pedulla to a two-way contract on Feb. 19. He made his NBA debut on March 11 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, scoring six points, including two three-pointers, with three assists and his first NBA rebound. He has appeared in four NBA games, most recently on March 25 against the Toronto Raptors.

Pedulla led all rookies with an average of 23.6 points per game in G League play, ranking ninth overall. During his final college season at Ole Miss, he helped lead the Rebels to the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16, earning all-SEC honors and leading the team with 15.4 points per game. He made 87 three-pointers and recorded 68 steals, both among the school’s top seasons.

He continues to develop at the professional level, with a notable debut season that has earned him league recognition.
