Delta State University’s athletic teams have a busy schedule this week, with home games for baseball and tennis and several road contests across various sports. The swim and dive teams are competing at the NSISC Championships in Pensacola, Florida.

Recent notable results include the Lady Statesmen remaining unbeaten with a 4-0 win over UT Permian Basin and the Statesmen completing a three-game sweep at No. 17 Lee in double overtime. The Lady Statesmen also secured their fourth straight win with a career-high performance by Shelton.
