Blue Mountain Christian women’s basketball dominates Welch on the road
NAshville, Tenn. — Blue Mountain Christian’s women’s basketball team delivered a dominant performance Tuesday night, defeating Welch 83-52 on the road. The Toppers controlled the game from the start and gradually increased their lead throughout the contest.
Blue Mountain established offensive rhythm early, while applying defensive pressure that forced turnovers and created transition scoring opportunities. The team built its lead each quarter, carrying momentum into halftime and extending it in the second half.
McKenzie Williams led all scorers with 18 points and added 11 rebounds for a double-double. Kathryn Echols contributed 15 points and six rebounds, while Maddie Kirk scored 14 points, six rebounds, and five steals. Rebecca Walter also finished with 14 points and five rebounds, providing multiple scoring options for the Toppers.
