DeSoto Central gets big win at Sikes Memorial tournament

The Jaguars of DeSoto Central picked up a big neutral court victory over the Falkner Eagles at the Sikes Anderson Memorial Tournament in Walnut on Saturday.

DC jumped all over the Eagles early and came away with a 59-29 win.

The Jaguars led at the end of every quarter but used a big 36-11 margin in the third quarter to cruise to victory.

Jason Bobo led the Jags in scoring with 21 as he hit five 3-pointers in the second half. Matthew Smith added 12.

DC has a chance to get back to .500 on the season with a Friday matchup against in-county foe Hernando.
