Mississippi State falls at Georgia Tech, 78-75

Dec. 4, 2024–In a contest that featured five ties and 17 lead changes, Mississippi State suffered its first loss on the season when it fell to Georgia Tech, 78-75, in the 2024 SEC/ACC Challenge inside McCamish Pavilion on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs move to 8-1 on the season.

Graduate student guard Jerkaila Jordan turned in the 35th game of her career with 20 or more points on 10-of-19 from the field in 35 minutes, while graduate student guard/forward Eniya Russell added 18 points, a career-high nine assists and nine rebounds in 30 minutes.
