Ole Miss Track Star Tarik Robinson-O’Hagan Remains on The Bowerman Watch List

New Orleans — Ole Miss senior Tarik Robinson-O’Hagan has been named to the March update of The Bowerman watch list for 2026, the university announced Thursday. Robinson-O’Hagan is a three-time NCAA champion and has appeared on the watch list for the third consecutive year.

The Bowerman, established in 2009 and named after Oregon coach Bill Bowerman, recognizes the top male and female collegiate track and field athletes annually. Robinson-O’Hagan first appeared as a semifinalist in 2024 after a standout sophomore season, and has maintained a spot on the watch list since preseason for 2025.

Robinson-O’Hagan is one of four throwers on the list and one of three SEC athletes, alongside Oklahoma’s Ralford Mullings and Auburn’s Kanyinsola Ajayi. The Ole Miss star recently swept the shot put and weight throw titles at the SEC Indoor Championships, earning his third consecutive Cliff Harper Trophy. His performance helped Ole Miss finish second overall at the meet, tying the school’s best indoor finish since 1984.

He is the NCAA leader in the shot put at 21.18 meters (69-6), set at the Clemson Bob Pollock Invitational in January. That mark ranks second in SEC history and 20th in collegiate indoor history. In the weight throw, Robinson-O’Hagan ranks fourth nationally with a season-best of 23.78 meters (78-0.25).

Robinson-O’Hagan, who is competing in his final indoor season at Ole Miss, is ranked second in collegiate history in combined PRs for the shot and weight throw at 45.53 meters (149-4). His career includes 12 All-American honors, 11 SEC titles, four SEC Field Athlete of the Year awards, and numerous medals and points scored at NCAA and SEC championships.

The next Bowerman watch list update will follow the NCAA Indoor Championships March 13-14 at the University of Arkansas, where Robinson-O’Hagan and six other Rebels will compete.

The full March 5, 2026, Bowerman Men’s Watch List includes athletes from Auburn, Oregon, Iowa, USC, Oklahoma, Northern Arizona, New Mexico, Texas Tech, and others. Additional athletes received votes but are not on the list.
