Mississippi Sports Group Launches Mississippi Sports App, MississippiSportsApp.com for statewide coverage

Sports fans across the Magnolia State now have a new digital home for high school and college athletics.

The Mississippi Sports Group announced Saturday the launch of the Mississippi Sports app for iOS, along with its companion website, MississippiSportsApp.com. The new platforms are designed to bring together scores, stories and statewide sports coverage into one streamlined experience.

The free app is available now on the Apple App Store, with an Android version planned for release in the future.

A Central Hub for Mississippi Sports

The Mississippi Sports app aggregates content from multiple publications within the Mississippi Sports Group network, delivering real-time updates from high school stadiums and college arenas across the state.

From Friday night football matchups in North Mississippi to college basketball and baseball coverage, the app provides fans with access to breaking news, game recaps, standings and feature stories in one place.

A New Digital Front Door

In addition to the app, Mississippi Sports Group launched MississippiSportsApp.com, a mobile-first website that features a live, RSS-powered sports news feed from six publications in its network. The site also provides direct app download links, newsletter sign-ups and contact information for story tips and advertising inquiries.

The website is built on a performance-optimized framework and hosted on Cloudflare’s global edge network to ensure fast load times for users across Mississippi.
