Life University tops Blue Mountain in SSAC men’s basketball game

Marietta, Ga. — Life University edged Blue Mountain 86-68 in an SSAC men’s basketball game at the Eagles’ Nest.

The game featured a high tempo, with both teams exchanging baskets early on. Life built a double-digit lead in the first half, thanks to efficient shooting and a strong inside game. The home team maintained control before halftime.

After the break, Blue Mountain continued to push, attacking the rim and increasing their pace. However, Life’s offensive execution kept the Eagles ahead throughout the second half.

Blue Mountain was led by Jonathan Baker, who scored 17 points and grabbed six rebounds. Gavin Shannon added 15 points and four rebounds. Michael Hill scored 13 points, and Chris Carter contributed 10 off the bench. Jalen Boyd-Savage dished out four assists as the Toppers fought until the final buzzer.

The Toppers will host Thomas University at Tyler Gymnasium next week.
