Natalini named SSAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week

Blue Mountain Christian women’s tennis player Annabella Natalini (SR/Caracas, Venezuela) has been named the SSAC Player of the Week, the home office announced today.

Natalini won a singles and doubles match during the week, defeating Cumberland’s Juanita Mendez in singles 6-0, 6-0 and winning 6-4 with doubles partner Tsveti Trivonova over Jessica Hernandez and Elina Sungatullina.

Natalini and her teammates are currently receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25.

“Annabella has shown great leadership on our team,” BMCU head coach Dana Horton commented.  “She is unshakable on the court and plays with great confidence while encouraging all her teammates.  Our team takes its lead from her.  She is also a fantastic student, and I’m very proud to have her representing BMCU on and off the court.”
