Winter Storm Delays Ole Miss Men’s Golf Event
The University of Mississippi men’s golf team announced that the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate, originally scheduled for this weekend at Georgia Southern, has been postponed due to winter weather conditions across the Southeast, according to an Ole Miss athletics news release.
The event has been rescheduled to Feb. 7-8. Ole Miss players Jacob Blanton, Finn Meister, and Collins Trolio will represent the Rebels at the new dates in Statesboro.
The team has been active throughout the season, competing in various tournaments such as the Fall Invitational at The Honors Course, the Hamptons Intercollegiate, and the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational. The Rebels also participated in the East Lake Cup and matches against Arizona State and Florida.
