Tray Huguley Named SLIAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

Tray Huguley, a sophomore forward for The W men’s basketball team, has been named the SLIAC Player of the Week for Feb. 16-22, according to the conference.

Huguley led The W to two significant wins last week, including an upset victory over league leader Webster University. His performance helped secure the team the No. 2 seed in the upcoming SLIAC tournament.

The 6-foot-6 player scored 20 points in each of his back-to-back games, including 20 against Westminster and 23 against Webster. He also contributed 14 rebounds against Webster for his 16th double-double of the season.

Huguley has been a key player for The W, and his efforts last week earned him the weekly conference honor, according to the SLIAC.
