Southeastern Louisiana tops Jackson State women’s tennis at home

The Jackson State women’s tennis team suffered a 4-1 home loss to Southeastern Louisiana on Thursday evening. The Lions took the doubles point after wins on courts two and three, with Bolsova and Darder defeating Benavides and Corbalan 6-3 on court two, and Corbalan earning a 6-3 win on court three.

In singles, Jackson State’s Mariia Iordanova, Daniela Tovar, and Victoria Linkovski pushed their matches to three sets but could not secure wins for the Tigers. Southeastern Louisiana added three more victories, including a win on court one by Corbalan, and wins on courts five and six, sealing the overall team win.
