Owls’ Basketball Players Earn Academic All-District Honors
Three basketball players from The W have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic NCAA Division III All-District team, according to an announcement. Conley Langford and Fantasia Wilson from the women’s team, along with Jackson Reid from the men’s team, earned the honor.
Langford, a senior biology major, secured her third consecutive All-District honor. She was also a second-team CSC Academic All-American in 2022-23. The guard averaged 15.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game this season and received all-conference and all-academic honors for the third year in a row. She is now eligible for the Academic All-American ballot, according to the school.
Wilson, a junior and first-year transfer, led The W in assists and steals during the 2025-26 season. She averaged 7.5 points and 5.2 rebounds per game and was named to the SLIAC All-Sportsmanship Team. Wilson is a healthcare management major.
Reid, who will graduate with his MBA this May, played a key role in the Owls’ first SLIAC championship and NCAA Division III tournament appearance this season. The guard started 22 of 24 games, averaging 5.5 points and 2.6 rebounds. He is a two-time SLIAC All-Academic Team selection.
