The University of Mississippi announced Saturday that its women’s tennis matches against Southeast Missouri, scheduled for Feb. 8, have been canceled due to winter storm conditions affecting local power and transportation.

The doubleheader was set to take place at Ole Miss, but officials cited safety concerns stemming from the winter weather as the reason for the cancellation, according to a university statement.
