Ole Miss Women’s Golf Finishes Day One at Clemson Invitational in 10th Place
The No. 17 Ole Miss women’s golf team finished the first round of the Clemson Invitational in 10th place, with a team score of 291 (+3), according to the university’s athletics department.
Mary Miller led the Rebels individually, firing a 2-under 70. The Savannah, Georgia native was consistent throughout her round, making the turn at even par and finishing strong with back-to-back birdies on holes 17 and 18. Miller is tied for 11th place heading into the second round.
Nicole Gal finished her round at 1-over par, while Sophie Linder and Kajsalotta Svarvar each posted 2-over 74. Ole Miss ranked third in par-3 scoring during the first round. The team will begin the second round at 8:10 a.m. Central Time, starting in 10-minute intervals.
