Ole Miss Women’s Basketball to Face Auburn in SEC Tournament Second Round

Ole Miss women’s basketball will face Auburn in the second round of the SEC Tournament on Thursday, March 5, at 5 p.m. CT. The game will be held at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, and broadcast on SEC Network, according to university officials.

The Rebels enter the matchup with a 21-10 overall record and an 8-8 mark in conference play. Ole Miss is coached by Yolett McPhee-McCuin, now in her eighth season with the team. Auburn, with a 15-16 record and a 3-13 SEC record, is led by first-year head coach Larry Vickers.

Auburn’s leading scorer is freshman guard Harissoum Coulibaly, averaging 10.7 points per game. The Tigers are known for their defensive efforts, averaging 11.1 steals per game, and forced 19.8 turnovers per contest. Vickers’ squad secured a 50-49 win over Texas A&M in the SEC Tournament’s opening round.
