The Ole Miss softball team was defeated 10-6 by No. 13 Texas A&M on Friday evening at the Ole Miss Softball Stadium, according to the university’s athletic department.

The Rebels (26-16, 2-11 SEC) struggled early, as the Aggies (28-12, 9-4 SEC) scored six runs in the first inning and three more in the second to build a 9-0 lead.

Ole Miss responded with a late-game rally, fueled by two home runs from Madi George, who drove in three RBIs. Cassie Reasner’s single in the second inning and an RBI double from Taylor Malvin helped the Rebels chip away at the deficit.
