Ole Miss Men’s Golf Ties for Fourth After Day One at Cabo Collegiate

The University of Mississippi men’s golf team is tied for fourth place after the first day of the Cabo Collegiate, held at Twin Dolphin Club in Los Cabos, Mexico. The Rebels posted a team score of 282, which is 2 under par, according to live scoring updates.

Three Ole Miss players shot rounds of par or better. Tom Fischer led the team with a 69, two under par. His score marked his fifth round in the 60s this season, and he remains outside the top 10 individually, heading into the second round.

Collins Trolio posted a 70, one under par, in his opening round. He was one over through nine holes but recorded three birdies over his final nine holes, finishing with a red figure. Cohen Trolio shot even par and is tied for 25th, with 10 rounds of par or better this season.

Cameron Tankersley finished with a 73, one over par, while Daniel Tolf scored a 77, five over. Ole Miss will start the second round at 9:30 a.m. CT with a shotgun start.
