Ole Miss Men’s Golf Team Heads to Memphis Intercollegiate at Colonial Country Club

The University of Mississippi men’s golf team will compete in the Memphis Intercollegiate at Colonial Country Club on March 30-31. The tournament will feature 54 holes, with 36 played Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday, at the historic Memphis course.

Jacob Blanton, a redshirt freshman, will make his third start of the season. He previously competed at the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational and the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate. Finn Meister, a true freshman from Tucson, Arizona, will participate in his fifth event this season. He most recently played at the Pauma Valley Invitational and has recorded two rounds in the 60s this year, according to Ole Miss athletics.

Colonial Country Club has hosted more than 30 PGA Tour events and features a South Course renowned for its playability and condition. The course has been home to champions such as Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino, and Gary Player. It is ranked among the top five courses in Tennessee by regional standards.
