Ole Miss Men’s Golf Standings at Pauma Valley Invitational After Two Rounds
The University of Mississippi men’s golf team, ranked No. 13 nationally, is in seventh place after two rounds at the Pauma Valley Invitational at Pauma Valley Country Club in California, according to updates from the team Tuesday.
Ole Miss shot a 5-over-par 289 in Tuesday’s second round and is 3-under overall for the tournament. The team faced challenging conditions as the course proved difficult in the second round, especially on the back nine.
Leading the Rebels, Cohen Trolio rebounded with a 1-under 70, his ninth under-par round this season. Tom Fischer posted an even-par 71 and remains 1-under for the event. Collins Trolio and Cameron Tankersley both shot 3-over 74 in the second round, while Daniel Tolf finished with a 4-over 75.
Both Tankersley and Fischer are within the top 20 individuals heading into the final round, which is scheduled to begin at 10:26 a.m. CT on Wednesday. The players will tee off in 13-minute intervals.
