Ole Miss Men’s Golf Finishes Sixth at Cabo Collegiate

The University of Mississippi men’s golf team finished tied for fourth at the Cabo Collegiate in Los Cabos, Mexico, on Tuesday. The Rebels shot a final round of 281, three under par, to conclude the tournament with a total score of 844, eight under par, according to team sources.

Tom Fischer led Ole Miss with a tie for sixth place, finishing six under par. The Birmingham, Alabama native posted under-par scores in all three rounds, earning his second top-10 finish of the season and the eighth of his career, sources said.

Cohen Trolio finished at two under after a final-round 69. His 16th-place finish gives him five top 20s in six stroke play events this season, sources reported. Cameron Tankersley was one shot behind at one under par, tying for 17th place.

The Rebels ranked third in par 4 and par 5 scoring during the tournament. Ole Miss will return home to prepare for the Pauma Valley Invitational, scheduled for March 16-18 at Pauma Valley Country Club, sources said.
