Northwest football to hold open tryouts on March 27

Senatobia, Miss. — Northwest Mississippi Community College has announced an open tryout for its 2026 football roster, scheduled for March 27 at noon at the Ranger Football Complex.

Registration will be held from 11 a.m. to noon at the campus located at 4975 Highway 51 North. The cost is $20 in cash only; checks will not be accepted. Tryouts will start at 12:15 p.m. at Bobby Franklin Field.

The event is open to unsigned seniors and players with junior college eligibility. Participants who have previously signed with an NJCAA institution must present an official release to be eligible. All attendees are advised to bring a current physical, cleats, and workout gear.
