Mississippi Valley State Softball Opens SWAC Road Series at Florida A&M
Tallahassee, Fla. — The Mississippi Valley State University softball team travels to Tallahassee this weekend for its first Southwestern Athletic Conference series of the season against Florida A&M.
Mississippi Valley, with a 1-11 record overall and 0-3 in league play, will face the 11-12 Rattlers, who are 2-1 in SWAC games. The series is scheduled for Friday at 5 p.m. and Saturday at noon and 2 p.m. at Veronica Wiggins Field.
The Rattlers hold a 19-5 series advantage over Mississippi Valley, dating back to the last meeting on March 29, 2025, in Tallahassee, where Florida A&M won 7-0. Florida A&M has won its last 13 games, while Mississippi Valley’s most recent win was on April 23, 2022.
