Mississippi Valley State Prepares for Key SWAC Matchup at Grambling State

GRAMBLING, La. — The Mississippi Valley State University men’s basketball team heads to Grambling State on Monday night, aiming to extend their winning streak after a buzzer-beating victory on Senior Night. The Delta Devils (2-26, 1-13 SWAC) will face the Tigers (11-15, 5-8 SWAC) at the Frederick C. Hobdy Assembly Center at 7:30 p.m.

The matchup marks the teams’ first meeting since January 2025, when Grambling State defeated Mississippi Valley State 65-54. The Tigers have won four straight games, while the Delta Devils’ last victory came on March 1, 2021, against the same opponent.
