Mississippi Valley State Hosts Prairie View A&M in Final Home Games of Season

ITTA BENA, Miss. — The Mississippi Valley State University men’s basketball team has two home games remaining in the 2025-26 season. The first game is scheduled for Thursday night against Prairie View A&M.

Prairie View A&M enters the game with a 10-16 overall record and a 5-8 mark in Southwestern Athletic Conference play. Mississippi Valley State holds a 1-25 record overall and is 0-12 in conference play, according to the SWAC.

The game will tip off at 7:30 p.m. at the R.W. Harrison Health, Physical Education and Recreation Complex in Itta Bena, Mississippi. The matchup will be streamed on SWAC TV, with radio coverage on G-Line Radio. Live stats will also be available.

In series history, the Delta Devils lead Prairie View A&M 56-36 since the 1983-84 season. The teams last met on Jan. 10, 2026, in Prairie View, Texas, with the Panthers narrowly winning 70-69. Prairie View A&M has a current winning streak of three games against Mississippi Valley State.
