Mississippi Valley State Baseball Visits Tennessee-Martin in Non-Conference Series
Mississippi Valley State University’s baseball team heads to Tennessee-Martin this weekend seeking its first victories against a non-conference opponent. The Delta Devils also aim to secure back-to-back winning weekends after recent performances.
The series begins Friday, March 6, with games at 12 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Local fans can follow the action via live stats for both games. Additional games are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, with start times to be announced.
The Skyhawks hold a 7-0 series lead over Mississippi Valley State, with their last meeting taking place on April 27, 2006, at Magnolia Field in Itta Bena. Tennessee-Martin enters the series with a 4-7 record, while Mississippi Valley State is 2-7 and unranked in the SWAC standings.
