Mississippi State’s Josh Hubbard Wins 2026 Coach Wooden Citizenship Cup
STARKVILLE, Miss. — Mississippi State guard Josh Hubbard has been awarded the 2026 Coach Wooden Citizenship Cup, recognizing his leadership, character and community involvement, school officials announced Thursday.
The award honors student-athletes who embody the values of legendary coach John Wooden, including integrity, teamwork, academic excellence and servant leadership both on and off the court, according to the organization.
Hubbard, who scored a record 46 points against Auburn last week, has demonstrated humility, work ethic and a dedication to mentoring youth and engaging in community outreach, officials said. He has also represented Mississippi State with distinction.
