Mississippi State Women’s Basketball Falls to Florida 71-56

STARKVILLE, Miss. — Mississippi State women’s basketball lost to Florida 71-56 on Thursday night, as the Bulldogs struggled to find consistent offense. The team shot below 40 percent from the field and made only one of three three-point attempts, according to the game statistics.

Madison Francis was a bright spot for the Bulldogs, scoring 20 points in the game. It was her fourth game with 20 or more points this season. She also recorded 13 rebounds, tying her career high, and earned her seventh double-double of the year, leading all SEC freshmen in that category.
