Mississippi State Men’s Tennis Remains Ranked No. 5 in ITA Polls with Five Singles and Three Doubles Teams

STARKVILLE — Mississippi State men’s tennis stayed at No. 5 in the latest ITA team rankings, marking another strong week in singles and doubles play, according to the organization.

Petar Jovanovic leads the Bulldogs at No. 8 nationally in singles. Mario Martinez Serrano is ranked No. 39, Benito Sanchez Martinez is No. 55, Bryan Hernandez Cortes is No. 92, and Niccolo Baroni is ranked No. 125 for the first time this season.

The Bulldogs also placed three doubles teams in the rankings for the first time this season. Jovanovic and Sanchez Martinez are ranked No. 5, Hernandez Cortes and Roberto Ferrer Guimaraes debuted at No. 38, and Michal Novansky with Martinez Serrano sit at No. 72.
