Mississippi State Men’s Basketball Game Moved to 11 a.m. Due to Winter Weather

STARKVILLE — Mississippi State has announced an 11 a.m. tipoff for Saturday’s men’s basketball game against No. 15 Vanderbilt, citing potential winter weather conditions in the area.

The Southeastern Conference made the adjustment in response to forecasts predicting snow, freezing rain, and icy streets. Gates will open at 10 a.m., and admission will be free. Fans who purchased single-game tickets will receive refunds, while season ticket holders will retain access to their seats. Student seating remains available for the game.

Mississippi State Athletics encourages attendees to consider local weather conditions before traveling. Those choosing to attend are advised to use caution, allow extra travel time, and be mindful of icy bridges, stairs, and sidewalks. Parking around Humphrey Coliseum will be open and available for spectators.

The game, originally scheduled to be broadcast on SEC Network, will now stream on SEC Network+. Fans are encouraged to follow official Mississippi State Athletics channels for updates and additional information.
