Mississippi State Finishes Ninth at Maridoe Collegiate
CARROLLTON, Texas — Mississippi State placed ninth overall at the Maridoe Collegiate, marking its seventh top-10 finish of the season, according to team officials.
Garrett Endicott led the Bulldogs with a tie for 12th place. He shot a final round of 75 and finished the tournament with a total score of 6-over 225. This was his sixth top-20 finish of the season.
Dain Richie posted a 19th-place finish, his second top-20 of the year, while Ugo Malcor improved significantly, climbing 27 spots after a final round of 73 to finish 29th overall. Freshmen Jackson Skinner and Bryson Hughes both tied for 69th.
Mississippi State will next compete April 3-5 at the Mason Rudolph Championship.
Oklahoma State won the tournament with a combined score of 875 (+11), followed by Arizona State and Baylor. The Bulldogs finished with a total score of 919 (+55).
Final individual results list Endicott at 222 (+6), Richie at 225 (+9), Malcor at 231 (+15), and both Skinner and Hughes at 247 (+31).
