Mississippi College Men’s Golf Finishes Ninth at Music City Invitational

Old Hickory, Tenn. — Mississippi College’s men’s golf team finished ninth at the Music City Invitational, ending with a total score of 858. The team posted scores of 288, 289, and 281 over three rounds, showing steady improvement.

Zach Robertson led the Choctaws, tying for ninth place with a three-round total of 209. Robertson shot two rounds of 69 and finished with a strong final round of 71. Todd Mckie also contributed significantly, tying for 22nd with a score of 212, highlighted by a final-round 69.

Ben Eichelberger completed the team’s effort, tying for 46th with a 218. His best round was an even-par 70 in the final round. Owen Wallace and Joao Iglesias rounded out the scoring, finishing tied for 53rd and 62nd, respectively. Wallace posted consistent rounds of 73, while Iglesias improved each day, concluding with a 73 in the final round.

Mississippi College now prepares for the Gulf South Conference Championships, scheduled for March 14 in Tunica, Miss., according to team officials.
